Welcome Your Family to Canada with the Super Visa!

At AV Immigration & Visa Services Inc., we understand how important family is. The Super Visa is a fantastic option for parents and grandparents who wish to spend extended time with their loved ones in Canada. This visa allows you to visit your children or grandchildren for up to 5 years at a time, with multiple entries over a period of up to 10 years.

Why Choose the Super Visa?

1. Extended Stays: Unlike regular visitor visas, the Super Visa allows you to stay in Canada for up to 5 years on each visit.

2. Multiple Entries: You can come and go from Canada as many times as you want within the 10-year period.

Are You Visa-Exempt?

If you do not require a visitor visa to enter Canada, you can still apply for a Super Visa. Upon approval, you will receive a letter to present to a border services officer upon arrival. If traveling by air, you may also need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a Super Visa, you need to meet specific criteria:
1. Host in Canada: Your host must be your child or grandchild who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or registered Indian. They must provide a copy of their Canadian citizenship document, permanent resident document, or Secure Certificate of Indian Status.
2. Invitation Letter: Your host must write and sign a letter inviting you to Canada, including a promise of financial support during your visit. This letter can also be co-signed by their spouse or common-law partner if they are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
3. Income Requirement: Your host must meet or exceed the minimum necessary income level to support you.
4. Health Insurance: You must have proof of a health insurance policy from a Canadian insurance company or an approved international provider. The policy must be valid for at least one year, cover healthcare, hospitalization, and repatriation, and provide at least $100,000 in emergency coverage.

Additional Requirements
1. Outside Canada: You must be outside Canada when you apply for the Super Visa.
2. Visa Issuance: Your visa will be issued by a visa office outside Canada, so follow the instructions provided by the visa office.
3. Medical Exam: You need to undergo an immigration medical exam.
4. Genuine Visitor: You must demonstrate that you are a genuine visitor who will leave Canada at the end of your visit.
5. Other Considerations: Your application will be evaluated based on your ties to your home country, the purpose of your visit, your family and financial situation, and the overall economic and political stability of your home country.
